    Definitions of categories

     

    OPEN / SENIORS

    This general category is open to all female competitors, regardless of their internship, age and competitions in other federations. In this category, height or weight classes are played in individual divisions in accordance with the competition regulations. In the OPEN / SENIORS category in Regional Qualifier and PRO Qualifier contest, competitors earn points for the ranking that qualifies them for the representation of the country of which they are citizens (citizenship in the passport), e.g. for the Polish, Italian, Ukrainian national teams, etc. for the NPC Worldwide World Championship in accordance with with the regulations:

    In the OPEN / SENIORS general category, height or weight classes are played in individual divisions, in accordance with the competition regulations, if the number of entered competitors allows it (minimum 3 competitors in the height or weight class). The final decision regarding the division into height and weight classes is made by the competition organizer together with the head judge of the competition.

     

    NOVICE

    This general category is open to all female competitors, regardless of their internship, age and competitions in other federations. Only competitors who have won any height or weight category or open class inthe NPC Worldwide competition in the general category OPEN / SENIORS or NOVICE or MASTERS held at previous NPC events in Poland and in the world cannot participate in this category. This exclusion does not apply to winners of the BEGINNERS / TRUE BEGINNERS / TRUE NOVICE, JUNIORS categories and players who won the competition in the OPEN / SENIOR or NOVICE or MASTERS categories in one NPC event (weekend), during which two different NPC competitions – Regional and PRO Qualifier. In the NOVICE category, height or weight classes are played in individual divisions, in accordance with the competition regulations, if the number of entered competitors allows it (minimum 3 competitors in the height or weight class). The final decision regarding the division into height and weight classes is made by the competition organizer together with the head judge of the competition.

     

    BEGINNERS / TRUE BEGINNERS / TRUE NOVICE

    This general category is open to female and male competitors who compete for the first time in their lives or have already started competing in competitions in the current calendar year (e.g. in 2021) in any federation. This category is open to competitors who have participated several times in competitions of different federations, but only (!) if it took place in the current calendar year. Competitors who have participated in any federation in previous years are not allowed to start in this category. Throughout the calendar year, the competitor who starts this year (rookie year) has the right to start in the general category BEGINNERS in Poland. Of course, competitors taking part in this category can start simultaneously (at the same event and other NPC events) in other general categories, i.e. NOVICE, MASTER, JUNIOR, SENIOR / OPEN REGIONAL, SENIOR / OPEN PRO QUALIFIER and they can take part in competitions of other federations without losing the right to start in this category. For athletes debuting in the NPC Worldwide federation, who competed in previous years in other federations, the general category is NOVICE (category for athletes debuting in the NPC federation), as well as the JUNIOR, MASTER, SENIOR / OPEN categories is intended. In the BEGINNERS category in individual divisions height or weight classes may be played in accordance with the competition regulations, if the number of competitors entered is sufficiently large (minimum 3 competitors in the height or weight class). The final decision regarding the division into height and weight classes is made by the competition organizer together with the head judge of the competition.

     

    JUNIORS

    This general category JUNIOR is open to all female competitors, regardless of their internship and competitions in other federations, who are under 23 years old (possibly also under 21 or 19 years old) or have turned 23 years old in the current year (possibly also 21 or 19 years old). The year of birth counts, not the exact date of birth. In this category, in individual divisions, age categories/classes (up to 19, 21, 23 years old) or height or weight classes may be played in accordance with the competition regulations, if the number of competitors entered is sufficiently large (minimum 3 competitors in the age, height or weight class). The final decision regarding the division into height and weight classes is made by the competition organizer together with the head judge of the competition.

     

    Masters

    This is a general category open to all female competitors, regardless of their internship and competitions in other federations, who turn 35 this year or are over 35 years old. The year of birth counts, not the exact date of birth. In this category, in individual divisions, age categories/classes (+40, +45, +50 years), height or weight classes may be played in accordance with the competition regulations, if the number of competitors entered is large enough (minimum 3 competitors in the age, height or weight class). The final decision regarding the division into age, height and weight classes is made by the competition organizer together with the head judge of the competition.

    Height and weight classes are assigned to competitors during check-in / verification based on the measurements of height and / or weight. Final age, height and weight classes will be approved and communicated once all competitors are verified.

    ATTENTION!

    Information for competitors who want to take part in PRO QUALIFIER competitions in the OPEN / SENIORS competition (in the competition where you can fight for the IFBB PRO card) in any country in the world.

    Before the first competition in the PRO QUALIFIER type, the competitor of the country in which the REGIONAL QUALIFIER competition is held should first start in the regional qualification (Regional Qualifier) ​​in his home country whose nationality is entered in the passport / ID or country in which the athlete lives permanently (a document proving permanent residence for a minimum of 3 months in a given country is required) and whose country the athletes represents.

    A competitor of a given country, after participating in regional competitions (Regional Qualifier), automatically receives a Certificate of Regional Qualifications, which allows him to participate in any PRO QUALIFIER competition around the world and fight for an IFBB PRO card in the OPEN / Seniors category for the next 12 months from the start in Regional Qualifier competition.

    Each competitor who participated in the Regional Qualifier competition in his country (home or permanent residence) receives a Regional Qualification Certificate. It is not required to have any certificate of obtaining it in paper or electronic form.
